Before writing HunterxHunter, Yoshihiro Togashi wrote another Shonen Jump hit - Yu Yu Hakusho! Now out of print, this volume introduces the story of the delinquent Yusuke Urameshi who bewilders the gods of the afterlife into giving him a second chance at life after he dies saving a child. Yusuke, who is tasked with becoming the afterlife’s spirit detective, develops his spiritual powers to fight demons and protect the living world. Yusuke gets increasingly involved in the spirit works and it’s problems, but at least he has his ragtag group of friends to help him including Kazuma Kuwabara, a fellow human delinquent; Kurama (aka Shuichi Minamino and Yoko Kurama), a fox demon trapped in a human body; and Hiei, the no-nonsense fire demon.
Both books have some wear on the edges and corners and yellowing due to age, but are overall in good shape. Volume 3 has a slightly bent back right corner as shown in the 7th photo.
