VINTAGE T.H. Stough Boston Terrier Glass Candy Container - Original Cardboard Base.
Rare to find one with the original cardboard bottom. The base clearly displays the manufacturer’s mark: "T.H. Stough Co., Jeannette, PA" and lists the original candy ingredients (Dextrine, Flour, etc.).
●Condition Details: The glass is clear with one small crack on the dogs back. The cardboard base shows minor age-appropriate toning but is fully intact and securely attached.
●History: T.H. Stough was a major distributor in the "Glass City" of Jeannette, PA. These pieces were sold for pennies at five-and-dime stores like Woolworth’s and are now beloved pieces of Americana.
