For your consideration is this adorable "Born-To-Talk" manufactured in China. Advertisements for this item began appearing in newspapers in 1987 (see example provided in item's photos). The bear is a light blonde color and is wearing a lace skirt, and a flower and bow hair piece on her head. She has two small faux pearls adhered to the side of her face. She is holding a blue plastic toy telephone that reads "Born To Talk" across the front. Her legs and arms are articulated from the hips and shoulders, allowing her to stand or to sit as the owner desires to display her. In the sitting position, the doll measures 7 inches tall. In the standing position, the bear measures 8 inches tall. The doll is made of acrylic material.
