Vintage Studio Pottery Green Drip Glaze Mug Folk Art Stoneware Georgia 4.5"
Hand-thrown studio pottery mug in a classic Southern folk pottery style. This piece features a rich green drip glaze over a warm brown stoneware clay body, with a raw clay foot ring and a pulled handle. Made by an independent potter and purchased in Northeast Georgia.
The glaze shows natural speckling and subtle banding from the wheel-thrown process, giving it a rustic, earthy look that’s very popular with collectors of Appalachian and Southern studio pottery.
There is a visible scratch on one side measuring approximately 5/8", which does not go through the glaze and does not affect use or structure. No cracks or repairs.
Unsigned, which is common for regional folk and studio potters.
