RARE vintage/antique collectible powder compact featuring an Art Deco design which represents celestial figures such as a lightening bolt, shooting star and the moon. It is Silver tone with the border consisting of a classic geometric pattern typical of the Art Deco era.
It is a rare and sought-after item among collectors of vanity items and Art Deco enthusiasts. The inside is very clean, consists of a mirror that pulls up to reveal a space for compact pad ( pad not available) and the other side section has a unique sifter that has a open & close position. This section is used for powder. Besides minor scratches from years of use the only flaw is the closure needs to be repaired as it doesn’t latch. Im not sure if it just needs to be bent back, as the release button and the bar inside are intact. I don’t know enough to try to repair or bend it back. Everything else is in beautiful condition and its a very nice collectible and sought after piece.
