This listing is for a lovely vintage hand knotted amber necklace with a hidden screw clasp. The amber itself appears to be quite varied, some beads have "flakes", typical to reconstituted amber, others are quite consistent. The polished beads are roughly faceted and graduated in size, measuring between 3/8 and 5/8" in diameter. The color variations are there, but overall this necklace has a nice/deep cognac hue. The necklace measures about 18". It is in good preowned/vintage condition,
