This bag can be used and loved as-is or it can be used as a project.
This bag was purchased in the same condition as described; a previous owner had it as a project piece and it was previously painted and later deglazed. As a result, the leather body is extremely soft and absorbs conditioner very well. The bag does have mold measle scars from past exposure; these are cosmetic only and not active. The piping is intact overall, though there is some visible cracking due to the prior paint and deglazing, as well as an area on one corner where cracking can be seen. I have conditioned the bag several times since owning it, and these areas have not worsened. I've had her for about four months and used her only three times, with no additional peeling or deterioration, including on the strap. The previous owner had her for over a year and noted that the condition remained stable.
