This vintage C Faye bag is well over 50 years old and has been in storage for all of those years. The bag shows no wear. The label is located sewn inside the bag. The fabric is a shiny black sateen with zipper closing. The glass looking beads appear to be hand stitched to the bag. None are missing.
The bag measures 7 inches by 7 inches and is about 4 inches front to back. Original packaging remains in thew bag. This is a stunning evening bag that has not been used in over 60 years. In my review of this manufacturer, I was unable to find any similar bag from them. I doubt if you would ever find anyone with a similar example of an excellent designers work.
