Vintage AUTO-STROP Valet Safety Razor with Box Circa 1920’s. Created by Henry J. Gaisman. A small strop is slipped through the guides in razor and a lever in backside releases the blade to flip back & forth turning razor into s stripper. Thus, the blade can be stropped without removing it from the razor. “Valet” is a well known for high producing high quality record. Metal is gold tone. Feels like brass. Features a unique runner guard design. The box lining shows discoloration due to its age.
