This adorable pair is a are vintage 1970s USSR (Soviet Union) Russian folk costume dolls. Made by the Lenigrushka factory and designed by Marichka Motovilova.
The dolls are a boy and girl set, often referred to as "Detsky Karnaval" (Children's Carnival) series.
They wear traditional-style clothing with patterns inspired by Khokhloma painting.
They are made of hard plastic and feature hand-painted details.
Bendable and legs, would sit nicely on a desk or dresser for a beautiful display.
These are pre owned but excellent condition!
