Authentic mid-century vintage coat by Mar-Del by Rice. This swing/A-line silhouette coat is crafted from a beige fabric (likely wool/mohair/alpaca blend based on texture/era, no fabric tag present) Features a genuine mink or sable fur collar in shades of brown. The lining is a luxurious satin-like fabric in a champagne color.
Great vintage condition. Minor signs of wear consistent with age, including some faint spots where the tiny hairs of material are missing (see photos) really only visible up close. Collar is in excellent condition. No major rips or tears.
The coat includes vintage union labels: the ILGWU label in the 1963-1974 style (pre-red ink) and the National Board Coat and Suit Industry label, which merged with the ILGWU label in 1960 and was used until 1972, confirming its authentic 1960s origin
