VINTAGE 1950's Fanny Farmer Old Time Candies Turkey Wax Container Thanksgiving.
Vintage wax turkey figurine from the iconic Fanny Farmer Candy Shops. These were originally sold as festive holiday containers, often holding a small amount of specialty "old time" candies.
This piece features a classic "Strutting Turkey" design with a vibrant red snood and yellow/red accents on the head. The base still retains the original cardboard seal with the official Fanny Farmer script logo.
Condition Details:
●Authenticity: Original cardboard base is intact, clearly marked "Fanny Farmer Old Time Candies - Net Weight 4 ozs."
●Surface: The wax has a beautiful aged cream patina. There is some minor surface dust/soiling consistent with age (see photos).
●Paint: There is some visible paint loss/chipping on the red portion of the turkey’s neck and head, which is very common for wax pieces of this era.
