U.S. Military Surplus
Cold weather deck pants issued by the U.S. Navy.
There is no model name, but it is marked INTERMEDIATE COLD WEATHER.
This model was adopted in the 1940s, with contracts confirmed up to the late 1960s.
It seems that the USN stamp was on the left front until the early 60s.
These trousers have been a topic of discussion on overseas forums many times, and although they were used in the same era as the N-1 deck pants and A-2 deck pants, the details are unknown.
It is said that they are not for deck work, but rather cold weather aviator pants for Navy pilots, due to the different hem shape from the N-1 and A-2.
Cotton satin shell with acrylic lining.
CONMAR brass W, with USA CONMAR stamped on the back of the slider (often used in the 1950s).
CONMATIC big tab.
Extra-thick belt loops.
Side pockets on both sides.
Left rear pocket with flap.
Hem with two-button ribbed cuffs.
The specifications are similar to the A-2 deck pants.
It feels slimmer overall than the A2.
1961 contract QM code.
Deadstock, brand new, unused item from the Vietnam War era.
There is no fading, and there are no scratches or fraying due to use, but there is a slight insect damage on the hem ribs.
Even so, considering the age and the number of existing items, it is a level of cleanliness that you will not encounter in the future.
Marked size: SMALL (27-30)
Flat measurements: Total length 100cm, Waist 39cm, Rise 34cm, Inseam 66cm
Thigh width 32cm, Hem width 18cm, approximately
