Oversized coffee table hardcover titled The Army, published in 2001 by Hugh Lauter Levin Associates with The Army Historical Foundation (Beaux Arts Edition), ISBN 0883633434, printed in Hong Kong. This richly illustrated 352-page volume presents a complete pictorial and narrative history of the United States Army from its Revolutionary War origins through late twentieth-century conflicts, with essays by Harold W. Nelson and other military historians and hundreds of photographs, paintings, maps, and recruiting posters.

Book is in very good vintage condition with light shelf and corner wear to the green cloth boards and gilt emblem, mild rubs/marks on the cover, and clean, tightly bound interior pages showing only minimal handling wear, as shown in the photos. Due to its large size and weight (approximately 14.5 x 10.5 inches and over 4 pounds), this volume is ideal as a centerpiece display for a home library, office, or gift for a U.S. Army veteran or military history enthusiast.
