This is a 1976 record by the trio Stone Alliance, consisting of tenor saxophonist Steve Grossman, Gene Perla (eb/p), and Don Alias (ds/perc). This is the Japanese version released in 1981. The jazz-funk/rare groove masterpiece "Sweetie-Pie," sampled by Large Professor in the Leaders Of The New School's "What's Next" remix, is still amazing!! You'll be drawn in by the high-tension and intense performance of B3 "Samba de Negro" and A1 "Vaya Mulatto" are also cool.
