Amazonite set - By taking a vintage necklace and changing out the existing beads with Amazonite, hand-painted, brass and bronze beads, macramé at the beginning and end of the string of Amazonite beads and 4 layers of various lengths and types of chain and quite a few hours I created this "Repurposed Necklace." I hope you like it.
The necklace measures 32" long with an app 3.5" extender chain and a bronze colored lobster clasp. The earrings are 1.5" long with bronze-tone ear wires.
Amazonite has been used as a gem for over 2000 years. It has been found in archaeological excavations of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia.
