This is an original hand drawn pen and ink artwork created and signed by Raymond E. Halacy in 1967. Halacy was a New Hope Pennsylvania resident known for capturing local historic scenery in detailed line art. This piece features a canal scene with a mule drawn towpath boat passing under a wooden bridge surrounded by richly illustrated trees and landscape. The drawing measures approximately 20 inches long and 13 inches tall and comes professionally framed in a 26 inch by 19 inch frame with matting and wire hanging hardware already installed.

The artwork itself is in excellent condition with crisp lines and no stains tears or fading. The frame and mat are also in great condition with only minimal age related wear. This is a wonderful vintage Pennsylvania art piece ideal for collectors fans of canal history or anyone who appreciates detailed mid century ink drawings.
