I found this scarce Confederate Spur in a camp near Bealeton Va in 2006. You can see an example of this spur on page 52 of Historic American Spurs by Howard Crouch. A small portion of the rowel remains and one strap guide is bent but intact and is nice example to have in a collection. I included a picture of the find moments out of the ground.
