The great vocal arranger Randy Van Horne began his career as a studio musician in the late 1940's in Los Angeles and went on to form the Randy Van Horne Singers in the late 1950's. The group became famous for performing the theme songs for many classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons including the Flintstones, Top Cat, the Jetsons, and the Huckleberry Hound Show. The classic 1960 album presented here features the group singing songs with a decidedly Western theme. All selections have been newly re-mastered.
