Gorgeous purple freeform-ish oval shaped agate stone pendant. The bail is silver toned and textured. The stone is polished and shiny with white sections banded into the stone. Stunning piece.

Purple agate's chemical properties are primarily determined by its composition as a cryptocrystalline variety of silica (\(SiO_{2}\)). The purple color is due to trace amounts of iron, manganese, or other elements incorporated during formation. It is a durable mineral with a Mohs hardness of 6.5 to 7.
