Beautiful Antique Pearlware Creamware Serpent Head Transferware 12" Ceramic Soup Ladle. Circa early to mid 1800s. Has an embossed figural handle that may have been made to appear a serpent or snake head. Or, it may be a cleverly decoreated floral form. Transfer printed with some Gold details for the serpent. The bowl has floral bouquets and bunting .Great form and materials with a lot of subject, textural and color interest.

Approx. 12” Long X 4" Diameter Bowl.
Good previously owned antique condition. The gold details have some loss. Some loss to the snake scale print. Some wear to the glaze at the end of the handle. Other signs of use or age as consistent with an antique piece. See the photos.
