This is an original 1989 Nintendo Game Boy (Model DMG-01) handheld console, the first generation Japanese release. It is complete in its original Japanese-language box with the Japanese instruction manual (取扱説明書), foam inserts, and original earphones shown. The console has been tested and works perfectly. The unit shows some minor discoloration/yellowing and light scuffs consistent with its age, as pictured. The box and manual are also in good condition with minor shelf wear (see photos). This system is region-free and can play US games. Great for collectors of Japanese imports!
