These are 1970s US military service shoes. They were manufactured by Endicott Johnson, a company that has long been contracted to produce combat boots and service shoes. Being from the 1970s, these service shoes have leather soles and a 5-eyelet design, rather than the later resin soles. Service shoes originated when the US Navy issued them for military personnel to wear as part of the dress code for special ceremonies and other occasions. Deadstock 1970s service shoes are becoming increasingly rare. This pair comes with the original shoe box, making it even more valuable.
