【Number 44】Remake Denim Type

This is a reconstructed (remade) pair of jeans by n°44, based on Levi's 501.
There is a tag inside the waist that reads "Type / For xxxx by n°44". More than a mass-produced item, I believe this is an "archive"-like piece that retains the atmosphere of the time.

What particularly catches the eye are the leather knee patches on the left and right knees.
With a custom feel reminiscent of work/military contexts, the contrast with the faded denim is quite appealing.
Furthermore, there are seams and paneling that appear to be from the reconstruction, giving it a different vibe from a regular 501.

Based on the 552 stamp on the back of the button, it's likely that the base for the remake was a USA-made 501, but the care tag (quality label) has been removed, so the exact age and country of manufacture cannot be determined (please make your judgment based on the photos and the actual item).
