In response to the sudden popularity of the product, a public relations representative from Mitsubishi Pencil, the manufacturer, was interviewed by the Sankei Shimbun on the 28th.

The representative responded, "As far as we can confirm from the video, it appears that you are using our 'Jetstream' in 'Light Pink'."
