1950s Max Bauer Potsdam, German photographer, hardback cover for collection of 11 of his black and white photographs. The inside flap that protects the photographs has handwriting that says 1957 and German script (see photo). The cover page has Lichtbildwerkstatte Max Bauer and his MB logo signature in print. The photo titles are Charlottenhof, Sanssouci, Friedenskirche, Historische Muhle, Garnisonkirche, Alte Fahrenheit, Heiliggeistkirche, Blucherplatz, Potsdam: Alter Market, Stadtschloss, Garnisonkirche bei Nacht. Photos and pages are in excellent condition. Cover board has damage on spine as shown and boards have some warping. Bauer lived from 1898-1988, and was considered one of the important photographers of the 20th Century.
