Thank you for viewing.

This is a CD featuring two speeches by Malcolm X, a Black Muslim who advocated for Black self-reliance. He was a radical Black liberation movement leader, often contrasted with Martin Luther King Jr., who led the Civil Rights Movement.

"Message to the Grass Roots" is one of the most important speeches of Malcolm X's life. This speech was delivered during his time with the Nation of Islam.

"The Last Speech" shows signs of fatigue in his voice and is frequently interrupted by coughing. This is because his home was bombed early that morning. He was assassinated a week later, on February 21, 1965.

There are no noticeable scratches on the discs. The booklet containing the speeches (in English and Japanese) has separated from the outer box, but there are no tears or missing pieces. Please examine the images carefully before considering a purchase. If you have any concerns based on the images, please refrain from purchasing.
