Maison Martin Margiela Wrinkle-processed V-neck Knit Sweater Brown 1998AW No tag

This is a Martin Margiela knit.
It's from the 1998 Fall/Winter "flat" period.
I bought it at MIDWEST, a clothing store in Nagoya that also had a location in Shibuya, Tokyo, at the time. I think the price was around 50,000 yen.
The famous tag has been cut off, but it's authentic, purchased from a legitimate store and handled by the Japanese distributor, "Orizzonti," at the time. You can determine authenticity and the year by the type of distributor tag, which also indicates washing instructions, etc. Search for "Margiela distributor tag types" for more details.
There was no men's line at the time, so I bought the women's version. Therefore, the armholes are relatively narrow, as is typical for women's wear. I believe this is from one of the last periods when Margiela was involved in the design.
Condition: There is a 1cm white stain on the inside of the left sleeve. There are small pills throughout.
