I also plan to list art books, practical books, zines, and more.

Michiko Iwatate, a pioneer in interior and lifestyle styling, who was active in numerous magazines and passed away suddenly in 2001.

This book, "Eucalyptus THIS IS A BOOK. SHE IS AN INTERIOR STYLIST.", is a photo collection in which five stylists, including Michiko Nagao, who was Iwatate's assistant, styled and photographed "items that Michiko Iwatate loved to use."

Published in 2004, first edition, limited to 3,000 copies.
It is now out of print, and the number in circulation is very small.

The title "Eucalyptus" comes from the eucalyptus branches that Iwatate favored in her styling during her lifetime.

This book is composed of the following chapters:
• White pottery
• Cutlery
• Tea
• Small items
• Stationery
• Baskets
• Travel
• Torso

Featured are not the so-called "stylish" items that are exaggerated, but rather,
commercial-grade equipment, old items, tools from around the world,
standard and warm items that are close to everyday life.

A natural style that eliminates decoration,
the sense of incorporating commercial products into life,
the attitude of choosing "good things" across countries and genres, etc.,
the perspective of a stylist who embodied values that have now become commonplace,
is conveyed quietly but surely in this book.

Rather than a textbook on interior design,
I feel it is a very personal and warm photo collection,
like a "record of things" that a stylist lived with.
