Purchased around the summer of 2025, and after one wash, I starched them once.
The size shrunk by about 1-2 inches.
Also, perhaps because there wasn't much starch, the denim was initially stiff enough to stand up, but it softened a bit after wearing them for 2-3 weeks without doing anything.
I'm not very knowledgeable about denim, so I don't know if that's normal, but I'll mention it anyway.

Please check the photos for the condition, as I've included pictures of the areas that concerned me.

LEVI'S VINTAGE CLOTHING 1933 501XX
The 33501 is equipped with almost all the details used in the successive 501s. The only exception is the red tab, which was first used in 1936. With the introduction of belt loops in 1922 as a new detail, denim became not only associated with laborers but also began to be used as "everyday wear" as it is today. *It is said that belt loops became common because cowboys wearing jeans with Western belts looked cool. From the 33501, which features a mix of belt loops, cinch backs, and suspender buttons, we can see the duality of its use as both workwear and everyday wear at the time, and it is a valuable model from a transitional period when it also began to be considered as fashion.
■NRA Label: Planned by President Franklin D. Roosevelt during the Great Depression of 1929. It meant adhering to certain rules regarding wages and working hours during the recession, and at the same time, it signified that the company was a good one at the time. *NRA stands for National Recovery Administration.
