Limited Edition Rorstrand Swedish Collector's Plate. 1990. Manufactured at the Lidkoping Porcelain Factory. Rorstrand was one of the most famous Swedish porcelain manufacturers. Founded in 1726 , Rorstrand is the second oldest porcelain brand in Europe and manufactured products for nearly 300 years. During the 1860s Rorstrand was one of Sweden's largest factories. Its services made for the general public as well as the jet set have a given place in Swedish history. In 1911 the company moved to Lidkoping and became AB Lidkoping . The original factory was closed in 1926 and is now a museum. Plate is in original styrofoam packing and in original box. Box is worn.
