Out of Print for years this cult classic is finally available again! A bridge between 1999's "Heaven in Flames" and 2002's "To Embrace the Corpses Bleeding". The forefather of US Black Metal, mastermind Akhenaten defined a sound that is still being copied today. Conceptually based on Nietzschean philosophies and filled with Nihilism and contempt for christianity, Judas Iscariot heralded a grim Black Metal sound from American shores years ahead of it's time. Judas Iscariot's revered catalog includes the Highlights "The Cold Earth Slept Below..." (1996), "Thy Dying Light" (1996), "Arise, My Lord..." 7" EP (1996), "Of Great Eternity" (1997), "Distant in Solitary Night" (1999), "Heaven in Flames" (1999/2023), "Dethroned, Conquered and Forgotten" MCD (2000/2023) "To Embrace the Corpses Bleeding" (2002/2023), "Moonlight Butchery" MCD (2002), in addition to multiple limited edition 7"Eps and split releases, and the much sought after, coveted live album "Under the Black Sun" (2000), all of which solidified Judas Iscariot as America's #1 Black Metal act to this day.
