This is a special edition of the "501(R)" model, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the original jeans, released in 2023.
This model is a collaboration between Journal Standard, EDIFICE, Journal Standard Relume, and 417 by Edifice.

While maintaining the straight silhouette of the 501(R), this piece pursues originality in its details, processing, and sizing. The fabric uses 14.6oz 100% cotton.

The base colors are dark indigo and black, with gentle damage processing on the pocket openings and hems. Moderate vertical fading from the knees to the thighs and wear marks on the side seams create a well-worn look.

While following premium details such as the leather patch and BIG "E" red tab, the most distinctive feature is the white bar tack on the right pocket, a new approach for the 501(R) and an iconic common detail of this collection.

The length is based on 28 inches and 30 inches, but 26-inch lengths are used for waist sizes 40 inches and 44 inches, achieving a subtle silhouette that allows for a perfect length even when worn oversized.

This is a special collaboration item to celebrate the 501(R)'s anniversary year.
