This book is a collection of works introducing the design work of the 1970s from the collection brand "Issey Miyake," which organically incorporates the essence of Japanese traditional beauty and Western beauty to create original textile patterns and continue to create new designs. It features photographs by Japanese photographers such as Koki Yokosuka, Kazumi Kurigami, Kishin Shinoyama, Noriaki Kano, and Yoshinobu Jyumonji, focusing on season images and collection scenes. It also includes a preface by Diana Vreeland, a dialogue between Masako Shirasu and Issey Miyake, and interesting texts by Mutsuo Takahashi, Arata Isozaki, and Eiko Ishioka. The editor of this book is Kazuko Koike, and the composition is by Ikko Tanaka. Published in 1978, first edition.
