1972 1st edition, third impression, hardback book. Probably an ex library book. Dust cover sealed behind Blue Peter style sticky backed plastic which has helped to maintain good condition. All pages present, none loose. Age related discolouration to long edge of pages apparent when closed, pages lovely and white for age. This is a great read for any football lover, an insightful illustration of how the game used to be. People were already interested in the money and trappings of a professional footballers life, the appendix with details of car, house price etc for each player is an interesting addition to the documentary chapters.
