Easy care.Tropical succulent vine native to SE Asia. Aka: waxplant, waxflower, waxvine and porcelain flower. Cross between Hoya Lacunosa and Hoya Obscura. Hybridized in 1992.
Needs well drained soil, consider mixing in a good amount of perlite if you are using a regular potting mix.
Water regularly but allow the top inch of the mix to dry between waterings. Reduce water in winter.
Prefers lots of bright but indirect light.
Supposedly hardy to 40 F, but try not to expose the plant to temperatures below 60. Avoid drafts in the house and do not put it against a cold window in winter.
Fertilize with a balanced diluted organic brand. Some growers mix in a small amount of food into the plant's water to provide a steady stream of nutrients. But take care not to overfeed, particularly with a non-organic brand. Reduce feeding in winter.
