Hermès Touareg “H” Cadena – Solid 925 Sterling Silver Bag Charm (circa Late 90s)

Stunning solid sterling silver Hermès Touareg H Cadena, created as part of Hermès’ collaboration with the Touareg silversmiths of the Sahara, known for their traditional hand-engraved silverwork. These pieces represent a rare meeting of heritage craftsmanship and French luxury design and were produced in limited quantities!

This is a screw-open Cadena, intended as a handbag charm. The hand-engraved geometric and wave motifs are crisp and well-defined, and the screw-open mechanism works smoothly and securely. The central ‘H’ part is mobile, but not wobbly.

I purchased this piece pre-owned around 2006 and never used it. It has been stored in my jewelry box, out of light & heat. It has received little wear and remains in lovely condition (my pics don’t do it justice!) It has been freshly polished so the silver is shiny & gleaming, a jeweler can polish the light wear on it to perfection!
