Special Antique Buddhist singing bowl from Nepal with endless knot etching which indicates continuity as the underlying reality of existence, along with Om and Om Mani Padme Hum mantras on the outer body. The process of etching involves mild diluted dyes which are used to cut into unprotected parts of the metal surface to create a design on the metal. Firstly, plain singing bowls are cleaned and a mixture of dyes and ash from firewood is used to write or draw designs upon the bowls. They are then kept under special supervised environment after which an etched line or design is left behind.
Comes with square dragon printed, black, Tibetan fabric cushion and high quality wooden mallet.
