Secondo album in studio dei Green Day, pubblicato originariamente su Lookout! Records, 1992, rappresenta il passo decisivo che portò la band fuori dall’underground punk californiano. Con uno stile ancora legato al sound della scena di Berkeley, l’album mostra però già la vena melodica che esploderà con Dookie. Contiene brani storici come “2000 Light Years Away”, “Christie Road”, “Welcome to Paradise” (che verrà reincisa per Dookie) e “One of My Lies”, oltre alle 4 bonus track della Sweet Children EP incluse in molte edizioni CD. Un disco grezzo ma fondamentale, considerato un cult dai fan, che segna l’inizio della transizione dei Green Day verso il successo mondiale.
