The Victorians had a utensil and item for just about everything you can think of! That’s why it’s one of my favorite eras to purchase and sell. This handsome set of fish knives and forks are so very lovely. This set of 12 equal amounts of knives and forks is etched and has celluloid handles. They are marked JE & SS which means they were probably made by the silversmith Joseph Eliot & Sons company in England which dates them to the 1800’s. They come in the original holder that has come loose at the hinges but could be repaired, but it still functional as picture #7 shows. Left with the original patina these could be polished if so desired once in your personal collection. $298 ~Enjoy!
