The Phantom Portraits are a series of animated pictures made in 2005-2007. When activated, they say a phrase & surprise victims by popping their eyes & tongue out.
This listing is for the Edwardian Butler.
In one phrase, the Edwardian Butler says he's been haunting the painting for 200 years. At the date of the release of this item, 2005, that would mean he was haunting it since 1805.
The portrait can be hung by the hole on back as shown. Though it comes with the option to stand as shown in photos 5 & 7, one of the stands no longer locks into place as it should, making the item unstable on a tabletop. This might be able to be repaired by somebody more handy than myself.
