guitar pick from Fredrik Åkesson, Opeth’s lead guitarist since 2007, obtained in 2013 during the Heritage tour in Belgium (Pukkelpop, Hasselt). Fredrik’s Ultex signature picks with the Opeth logo have been around since the late 2000s onward, used throughout the Watershed (2008), Heritage (2011), Pale Communion (2014), and later tours. The design hasn’t changed drastically, so it’s hard to pin it down to a single year — but this one definitely was obtained at Pukkelpop in 2013.
