Handmade glass crafted bead in the Fenton Glass Jewelry "Vasa Murrhina" style. Bead can be worn on any large hole compatible bracelet, such as Pandora style charm bracelets. It would make a thoughtful gift to anyone who likes to style their bracelet with different charms.
The bead features a white base coated with crushed colorful glass in yellow, blue red and green with some gold sparkle on top. Here's what the Fenton newsletter has to say about the process: "Vasa Murrhina is a term which means ''vessel of gems'' and each unique Fenton bead captures a glittering layer of Goldstone. Our beadmakers use extreme care to maintain its sparkle in the hot flame. Tiny bits of colored glass add a variety of hues in each different design, and no two are identical!"
Bead has a sterling silver core approx. 5/8" or around 5mm hole size. Core is stamped with the Fenton logo, USA and .925. Made in the USA prior to closure of Fenton Glass Jewelry Philadelphia manufacturing location.
