WILL NOT COME WITH BATTERIES because there is no “off” switch that I could find. It does have a “reset” button by the battery cover (the white button) Takes 2 AAA. Works as shown HOWEVER the little voice is quiet. Not sure how loud it’s supposed to be (and the voice is clear) but it is very quiet. Please be aware. Please ask any questions you have before purchasing. This was mine from when I was a kid
