This is a rare photobook that includes the "Black Shock" from the brand's debut at Paris Fashion Week.
This large-format photobook of Commes des Garçons collects campaign images from their first collection in Paris in 1981 to Autumn 1986. It features 92 color and monochrome photographs by Peter Lindbergh, Bruce Weber, Steven Meisel, Arthur Elgort, and Oliviero Toscani.
The box shows signs of aging, with some fading and tears, but the photo pages are in excellent condition with no signs of use.
The original paraffin paper had some tears, so it was replaced with new paraffin paper and stored in a double layer (photo 10).
This is a first edition that has been carefully stored at home since purchase.
