I took an original Bowen Designs Black Bolt mini-bust and converted him into Silver Surfer.
I re-shaped an re-sculpted the head, neck, full body, back side, and shoulders. The cheekbones and chin were slightly altered as well. Sculpted on larger "alien" eyes to make him resemble Surfer.
Re-sculpted the forehead to further accentuate the facial expression. I wanted him to have a sad contemplating stare.
The base was not altered and remans the original design.
Painted with metallic chrome. Added subtle shades of smoke and purple to accentuate the details and muscle anatomy. Finished with a gloss clear. The base is not as glossy and more semi-gloss.
Includes original Bowen art box and foam. Numbered 1727/3000. This custom is one of a kind.
