NO jacket, but has pasted-in jacket front & back flaps from original jacket. NOT EX LIB. GOOD. Front flap not corner clipped w/ $2.00 retail. Tan cloth boards, dark brown lettering, have edge rubs, chips, soiling, small gouge on front cover. Page edges soiled. Upper red dye faded. Inside front blank flyleaf has "Block and Kuhl Co." stamp, a large department store in Peoria, IL, and "1938" written in pencil on same page. Binding split at page before title page, w/ binding mesh showing, but still tightly bound. Inner pages very age-yellowed, some foxing, tanning, & soiling, as well as creasemarks. extremely scarce title which you will discover when you search the Internet for it.
