The Baumr-AG is a sturdy, heavy-duty unit with its cast-iron bed and componentry. With high and low gear and infinitely variable speeds right up to 2500rpm, this mini metal lathe makes short work of drilling, cutting, threading and turning. It will also operate at all speeds in reverse, which makes left-hand threading an option. With 400W of power on tap and adjustable powerfeed, you’ll be making small parts, threaded parts, fittings and dies from brass, bronze, aluminium and steel with ease.

It has a fully featured carriage, finely machined ways, self-centring 3-jaw chuck, a MT3 spindle taper and a MT2 tailstock taper and includes a thread range of 0.4-2.0mm (10 thread pitches). The 5/16-inch capacity tool post allows up to four cutting tools to be mounted at once for simple substitutions mid-project. The Baumr-AG has a chip tray splash guard and emergency stop button for optimal safety credentials.
