Aan authentic mid-century Japanese bronze okimono depicting Ebisu the God of Fishermen and Good Fortune produced by the renowned Iwachu foundry in Morioka Japan. This bronze figure features a traditional dark brown patinated finish and depicts the deity holding a sea bream under the left arm. The underside of the base bears the square relief maker's mark of Iwachu.

The item is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks or repairs. The bronze exhibits a clear resonance when tapped. Please note the original fishing rod accessory is missing from the right hand. The surface shows minor handling wear to the high points of the patina consistent with the Showa period age.
