This is a pre-owned, oval-shaped opal, displaying vibrant blue and green play-of-color against a dark body tone. Geometric Harlequin pattern The opal measures approximately 9mm in length and 7mm in width, as indicated by the ruler in the images. It weighs 1.25 carats, as shown on the digital scale. The reverse side of the opal appears to be a dark, possibly black, backing, with a visible crack or line across it. There is also a small yellowish adhesive or residue visible on one end of the backing The crack shouldn’t be a problem it doesn’t effect the platypus of color .
